Who can apply?
Employees and Officials in Government, Public Sector, Universities, Chambers of Commerce and Industry having 5 years minimum work experience in the Government and also in relevant field of training programme.
Applicants who are between the age group of 25 to 45 years are only eligible to apply.
Who are medically fit.

Applications must be submitted in the prescribed ITEC Form to the nodal Government Department/Agency designated to nominate candidates and all applications should be forwarded through Ministry of Investment and International Cooperation, Egypt.
The Ministry of Investment and International Cooperation, Egypt will in turn forward the applications to the Embassy of India, Egypt.
Applications should be complete in all respects with full details of academic as well as professional qualifications. Incomplete applications will not be processed.
Eligibility criteria for admission to courses
Must have the required academic qualifications as laid down by the Institute for the selected Course.
Must have working knowledge of English to follow the Course. Candidates will have to attend a written test and interview at the Embassy.
Government of India will bear the following expenses for the selected candidate:
Return international airfare by excursion / economy class
Accommodation – hostel (depending on availability, it could be on single or sharing basis) or hotel in case of non-availability of hostel accommodation.
Living Allowance @ Rs. 25,000/- per month. Candidates are, among other things, expected to meet the expenditure for their meals from this amount.
Applications must reach the Indian Embassy before 2/3 months of the commencement of the Course. Applications received just one month prior to start of the course will not be processed.
Upon selection, the Embassy of India will inform the Ministry of Investment and International Cooperation and the applicant.
Selected candidates are required to fully familiarize themselves regarding the course curriculum, rules and regulations of the Institute through the websites of the concerned Institute. They should also be familiar with the ITEC terms and conditions.
Decision for grant of scholarship rests solely with the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India.
