The Embassy requests all Indian passport holders and Persons of Indian Origin to register with the Embassy soon after their arrival in Egypt.
As we have just started the registration process in electronic mode now, all the Indian passport holders and Persons of Indian Origin already staying in Egypt are also requested to register themselves.
Registration helps the Embassy to maintain an up-to-date data base to provide important services for Indian nationals residing in Egypt. Some of these services include: contacting individuals in cases of family or personal emergencies; relaying important information of interest to the Indian community; and a number of consular and administrative services relating to personal documentation.
The registration is a free service and is encouraged for availing consular services henceforth. The Embassy is committed to ensuring that any personal information received by the Embassy pursuant to the registration process is safeguarded against unauthorized disclosure.
