Cooperation between India and Ismailia in the fields of agricultural production and tourism

Ismailia- Syed Ibrahim:

Ambassador of India in Cairo Mr. R. Swaminathan stressed the necessity to maximize opportunities of cooperation between Ismailia governorate and the Indian provinces in the field of agricultural production and exchange of expertise. He indicated that the possibility of establishing joint ventures between the two sides in the fields of tourism, energy and IT would be considered through exchange of visits between the two sides. These points were discussed between the Indian Ambassador in Cairo and the Governor of Ismailia Major General Abdel Galil Al Fakharani.

It is worth mentioning that the Governor of Ismailia received the Indian Ambassador, as he held a meeting that aimed at enhancing cooperation between the two sides.

Al Fakharani indicated that Ismailia would offer all possible facilities for investors, adding that the governorate achieved high growth rates, which exceeded all targeted percentages. The Governor added that there are several joint ventures between the Egyptian and Indian sides in the governorate.
