Egyptian-Indian cooperation in the field of small-scale industries
The Egyptian Minister of International Cooperation Mrs. Fayza Abul Naja stressed the necessity to encourage bilateral cooperation between India and Egypt in the field of small and medium-scale industries, emphasizing the necessity to give more attention to this domain, as it is a key sector of the economy and feeding all major industries.
The Minister gave these statements during her meeting with the Ambassador of India in Cairo. During the meeting, the Minister of International Cooperation expressed the interest of the Egyptian side to cooperate with India in the fields of human resources development and promotion of skills, which are very necessary to produce cadres, whom the country needs to push forward the development process, especially in the field of management. Mrs. Fayza Abul Naja added that negotiations are going on regarding a number of agreements of cooperation, which will be signed between the two sides and they will cover several sectors, such as healthcare, trade exchange, economic cooperation and space applications.
