A lecture titled “Prospects of India-Egypt Information Technology Cooperation” at the Maulana Azad Centre for Indian Culture, Cairo

 

The Maulana Azad Centre for Indian Culture (MACIC), in cooperation with Egypt-India Friendship Association, is organizing a lecture titledProspects of Information Technology Cooperation between India and Egypt” by Mr. Amin Khaireldin, Strategy Advisor and Member, Board of Directors of Information Technology Industry Development Agency on Monday, 22 March 2010 at 6 p.m, at the Centre’s premises at 23, Talaat Harb St., Downtown, Cairo. He recently attended the NASSCOM India Leadership Forum in Mumbai.

 

For the first 30 years of his professional career, Mr Khaireldin was employed with IBM.  He held various managerial positions at IBM Egypt include Country Branch Manager. In December 2000, Mr. Khaireldin was appointed by the Egyptian Government to chair the Business Development Workgroup in charge of proposing strategies and programmes leading to the development of the telecom sector following its de-regularization. Presently Mr. Khaireldin is leading the team in charge of the execution of IT Industry National Development Strategy. Additionally, he is Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Technology Development Fund (TDF).

 

H.E Dr Ali El Din Hilal, President, Egypt India Friendship Association and H.E Ambassador of India R Swaminathan will speak on the occasion.  The Indian IT companies present in Egypt will also participate. All are cordially invited.
