Ministry of External affairs, India launches its twitter Account

The Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India, has recently launched a twitter account as part of its outreach activities. The tweets issued by the Publicity Division of the Ministry, give useful information on the latest foreign policy statements of the Government of India, publications of the Ministry, and lectures by eminent Indian Diplomats at Indian universities. The account has been extremely popular with over 1650 followers of the account since it started its first tweet on 8 July 2010.
