“Glimpses of India” painting competition Prize Distribution Ceremony

The Maulana Azad Centre for Indian Culture (MACIC), Embassy of India organized the annual "Glimpses of India" painting competition for school children from 14 to 24 December, 2008. About 2400 children from 255 schools of Cairo and Giza participated in the competition.

At a function scheduled at 6:30 pm on Tuesday, 3 March 2009 at the Al-Salam Theatre [101, Kasrel Eini Street, Garden City, Cairo], the famous Egyptian actress, Mrs. Ola Ghanim will be the Chief Guest and will present prizes to 61 children, who were adjudged winners in the three categories of the competition.
