State Visit of H. E. Mohamed Hosny Mubarak, President of the Arab Republic of Egypt to India

November 16-19, 2008

    His Excellency, Mohamed Hosny Mubarak, the President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, will be paying a State Visit to India from 16-19 November 2008. The President will be accompanied by Mrs. Suzanne Mubarak and by a large delegation that includes H.E. Ahmed Aboul Gheit, Minister of Foreign Affairs, H.E. Anass Ahmed Nabih El-Fiqqi, Minister of Information, H.E. Dr. Tarik Mohamed Kamel Mahmoud, Minister of Communication and Information Technology, H.E. Engineer Rasheed Mohamed Rasheed, Minister of Trade and Industry, H.E. Gen. Omar Suleiman, Minister, other senior officials and businesspersons.

    During his visit, the President of Egypt will be meeting the President and will hold delegation level talks with the Prime Minister. The Vice President, Chairperson of UPA, External Affairs Minister and the Leader of Opposition will call on the President of Egypt. President will host a State Banquet in honour of the visiting dignitary. Several agreements are expected to be signed during the visit.
