Signing of Agreement on “Reducing the Risk from Accidents Relating to Nuclear Weapons” between India and Pakistan

In the presence of Shri Pranab Mukherjee, External Affairs Minister of India and Mr. Khurshid M. Kasuri, Foreign Minister of Pakistan, an Agreement between India and Pakistan on “Reducing the Risk from Accidents Relating to Nuclear Weapons” was signed today in New Delhi by Shri K.C. Singh, Additional Secretary (International Organizations) in the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India and Mr. Tariq Osman Hyder, Additional Secretary (UN & EC), Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.

The Agreement enters into force with immediate effect
