An Indian handicrafts exhibition in Cairo

 

 

Within the framework of its various cultural activities, the Maulana Azad Centre for Indian Culture (MACIC) in collaboration with the Egypt-India Friendship Association (EIFA) is organizing an exhibition of Indian handicrafts. The exhibition will be held from March 5 to 9, 2006, at the premises of MACIC at 23, Talaat Harb St, Downtown, Cairo.

 

H. E. Mr. A. Gopinathan, Ambassador of India to Egypt, will inaugurate the exhibition at 1900 hrs on Sunday, March 5, 2006. The exhibition will showcase wooden and silver items in addition to handicrafts, accessories, bed covers as well as leather and brass products. Henna inscriptions will be available during the exhibition. The exhibition will be open from 10:30 am to 5:30 pm daily.
