Visit of H. E. Dr. Ahmed M. Darwish, Minister of State for Administrative Development of Egypt to India

(7-11 December, 2006)

    H. E. Dr. Ahmed M. Darwish, Minister of State for Administrative Development, will be visiting India from 7 to 11 December 2006 at the invitation of H.E. Mr. Suresh Pachauri, Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs and Personnel, Public Grievances & Pensions, of the Government of India.

    While in New Delhi, Dr. Darwish will have talks with Mr. Suresh Pachauri. His engagements also include a call on the Minister of Home Affairs of India, and meetings at the Ministry of Communication & Information Technology and the Ministry of Human Resource Development. The focus of the talks will be on sharing of experience in the fields of administrative development, reforms, capacity building and e-governance etc.

    Dr. Darwish is to visit Hyderabad on 9^th December, where the Egyptian delegation will have discussions at the National Institute for Smart Government, the Hi-Tec City, the Centre for Good Governance, and the Administrative Staff College of India. In Hyderabad, Dr. Darwish is also scheduled to meet the Chief Minister of the State of Andhra Pradesh.
