Kuch Kuch Hota Haifilm show for the public at the

Maulana Azad Centre for Indian Culture, Cairo on September 18, 2006

 

    Within the framework of its various cultural activities, the Maulana Azad Centre for Indian Culture (MACIC) is organizing a screening of “Kuch Kuch Hota Hai”, a Hindi film for the public at 6 PM on Monday, September 18, 2006 at the Centre’s premises at 23, Talaat Harb Street, Downtown, Cairo.

 

    Anjali Sharma (Kajol) is a tomboy, and is very friendly with the local Casanova Rahul Khanna (Shahrukh Khan).  When  Tina Malhotra (Rani Mukherjee)enters their lives, Rahul falls head-over-heels in love with her and marries her.  This breaks Anjali’s heart and she leaves the college to settle far away.  The marriage of Rahul and Tina results in the birth of baby Anjali (Sana Saeed).  Moreover, Tina pases away, leaving Rahul devastated.  Anjali grown up, and finds out that her mom had left her some letters to read.   She, on finding out that her dad may have been in love with Anjali Sharma, she makes an attempt to bring them together.

 

    “Kuch Kuch hota Hai” is a colourful film with leading Indian actors and backed up by good performances.
