Glimpses of
The Glimpses of India painting competition for the year 2005 witnessed enormous enthusiasm from Egyptian schools and students. For this event a record number of six hundred schools from all parts of Egypt participated. More than five thousand paintings were submitted as entries in the competition in the three categories of primary, intermediate and matriculation levels, for which the competition was held. Besides being a major attraction for students in Cairo, the competition also drew heartening responses from schools in the Governorates of Alexandria, Luxor, Aswan, Ismailia and 6th of October City. The prize giving ceremony for Cairo was held on November 15, 2005, and saw unprecedented participation, and was attended by more than two thousand students and their guardians
