Egypt in the new world
By: Dr. Anwar Abdel Malik
China, Russia and India
We are made absent-minded by the bad and corrupted culture and concepts of “Camp David.” Most people think there is no escape from the US hegemony, while various opposition trends think this hegemony is an inevitable state of affairs.
The “Marines” and the “Arab Zionists” fashion concepts and coin catchy slogans such as “recognising the other” and “the peace culture”; as if the Egyptian culture is that of war and aggression, or that Egypt has been turned into a base for pre-emptive wars against other nations to occupy them, or even that we are the nation that is responsible for the acts of Guantanamo and Abu Ghraib.
The Camp David mindset has spoiled the minds of the Egyptians and weakened the national will and culture, hence, the national drive. Reaching a compromise with this black circle has become an excuse for inferiority, disability, and weakness.
Egypt was suddenly awakened to a new world and to discover that China is an emerging power, all along with an Asian constellation comprising Japan, India, Korea and Vietnam and extending to Iran and Turkey, while Russia is witnessing a national rise. Did not they say that India allied with the US after the US has given it the key secrets of nuclear technology to assure that it would stand in the face of its major neighbour China and to wipe out the history of alliance between India and the Soviet Union? Now, India celebrated its national day on Friday, 26th of January and the guest of honour was the Russian President Vladimir Putin. All the modern weapons of India come from Russia. Russia provides India, as well as China, with the latest armament technologies, as part of the Primakov project to face the unipolar hegemony. To tell the truth, we have not seen or read anything about that neither in the Egyptian TV channels, nor in the press.
