Lecture titled “Role of Indian scholars in the Service of Human Civilization”

at the Maulana Azad Centre for Indian Culture, Cairo

The Maulana Azad Centre for Indian Culture (MACIC) is organizing a lecture on May 12, 2008, titled “Role of Indian Scholars in the Service of Human Civilization” by Dr. Karam Helmy, Assistant Professor of Islamic Civilization, Zagazig University.

Dr. Helmy who holds a Doctorate in Islamic History and Islamic Civilization from Cairo University, is currently heading the Civilization Department at the Institute of Asian Studies and Researches, Zagazig University. He has authored many books and contributed many papers at national and international conferences and seminars in Egypt and abroad.
