Lecture titled ““Economic and Political Changes in India”

at the Maulana Azad Centre for Indian Culture, Cairo

The Maulana Azad Centre for Indian Culture (MACIC) is organizing a lecture on April 21, 2008, titled “Economic and Political Changes in India” by Mr. Abdallah Nassar, First Deputy Chief Editor of Al Gomhuria newspaper, Head of Economic section and Board member of Dar El Tahrir Publishing House (Al Gomhuria Group)

Mr. Nassar obtained his Bachelor of Arts from Cairo University in Journalism and joined Al Gomhuria Arabic daily as an editor at crime page and news section. He worked as a reporter in Ministry of Finance in addition to working as correspondent to the Egyptian Cabinet. Mr. Nassar joined the economic news section in 1980 and has been writing a daily column “Queries”, dealing with current economic and political issues, till date. He became Deputy Chief Editor and founded the Egypt Trade and Investment newspaper.
