BharatAnatyam dance performanceS

at cairo and alexandria

    As part the “Made in India” Show in Cairo (20-23 November 2007), the Maulana Azad Centre for Indian Culture (MACIC), Embassy of India and the Ministry of Culture of the Arab Republic of Egypt are jointly hosting a Bharatanatyam Dance performance by Ms. Jayalakshmi Eshwar and her nine member group at the Cairo Opera House at 8 pm on 23 November 2007.

The Indian dance troupe will also present a performance at the Alexandria Art Centre, Alexandria at 8 pm on Saturday, 24 November 2007.

The visit of the Indian dance troupe is sponsored by the Indian Council for Cultural Relations and takes place under the Cultural Exchange Programme between India and Egypt.

Limited invitation cards are available for the performances and may be collected from the Centre at 23, Talaat Harb st, Downtown, Cairo
